Created for a recent art fair in Austin - an array of pieces from different bodies of artwork.
The patterned pieces are inspired by historic trade blankets, the botanicals by the fact that they are western native edibles (the roots on Camas and Prairie Turnip).
The artworks with embedded fencing are both an exploration of abstraction and a consideration of land boundaries - who has access to what and where……
