Adrift
These artworks were created for a spring 2025 exhibition in San Francisco - thus the nautical theme - in an attempt to address a moment in time in which many feel unmoored.
The large boat sail abstractions are meant to conjure a sense of being untethered, both elegant as well as melancholic.
The birds and feathers are from sea and shore bird species able to flock and drift up high on ever changing winds.
The text based artworks use witticisms in common parlance as a way to emote and vent.
